NeuroPhoenix is an education and coaching practice founded by Helen Ibáñez, offering books, workshops, speaking, digital resources, and one-to-one coaching for autism families. This page is maintained by NeuroPhoenix and explains how we handle personal information.

Contact information collected through forms on this website: your name, email address, and anything you choose to write in the message field.

Coaching inquiry information: the program you are interested in, your family situation as you describe it, and scheduling details you provide when booking a call (our scheduling provider, Calendly, collects your name, email, time zone, and booking answers).

Information voluntarily shared during coaching sessions: notes and context you choose to share with Helen during or between sessions.

Basic technical information: standard server and hosting logs such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure.

Sensitive family information may be discussed during coaching. Conversations often involve personal details about you and your child, including health, education, and behavioural context.

We treat this information as confidential. Notes are kept only as long as needed to support you, and are never shared without your written consent — except where the law requires disclosure or where there is a serious risk to someone's safety.

We use your information to reply to your message, deliver the coaching, workshops, or resources you asked for, send the newsletter if you signed up, and keep the records required to run the practice.

We never sell your information.

We never share your information without your consent, unless disclosure is legally required.

We do not use your information for advertising profiling.

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the practice: website hosting, email delivery, Calendly for scheduling, and payment processing for paid programs. These providers only handle the information needed to perform their service.

This website uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function. We do not run advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

Embedded third-party tools, such as the Calendly scheduler or an Amazon link you follow, may set their own cookies when you interact with them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential cookies are required for the site to work correctly.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability.

Our lawful bases for processing are: your consent (newsletter, optional information you share), performance of a contract (delivering a program you purchased), and our legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, keeping the site secure). Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any right, email helen@neurophoenix.support. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request a copy of it, to request deletion, to request correction, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

Our services are directed to parents, caregivers, and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Any information about a child is processed only with the consent of that child's parent or legal guardian, and only to support the coaching relationship. A parent or guardian may ask us to review or delete it at any time.

Contact enquiries are kept for up to two years. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Client and financial records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require.

We use reputable providers and limit access to personal information to those who need it to deliver our services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify newsletter subscribers by email.
