Helen's story
The day we received the diagnosis, the world went quiet. I remember the drive home, the questions I couldn't ask out loud, and the deep love I felt for my son — even as I began to grieve the future I had imagined for him.
What followed were years I rarely talk about: the sleepless nights, the burnout, the loneliness of being surrounded by people who couldn't quite see what our days looked like. Books helped. Therapists helped. Other mothers helped most of all. Piece by piece I rebuilt myself, and along the way I rebuilt our family.
"I didn't create NeuroPhoenix because I wanted to become a coach. I created it because I wanted families like mine to know they are not alone."

The book
One mother's journey from fear and uncertainty to acceptance, advocacy and purpose.
Social proof
“As the mother of a child with autism, I can truly say this journey is filled with learning, challenges, uncertainty, and also many beautiful moments.
Having someone who genuinely listened to me, supported me, and helped me better understand my child’s needs—as well as the personal situations I was facing—made an enormous difference. Working with Helen as my coach gave me greater clarity, confidence, and hope.
I am deeply grateful for the support and guidance I received from her. Her patience, empathy, and dedication helped me not only learn new strategies, but also better understand the needs of my children.
I wholeheartedly recommend Helen’s work. For a family navigating this journey, finding someone who truly understands, supports, and believes in our children is a priceless gift.”
"I love how short but impactful this book is. As a parent of a child who is on the spectrum, it gave me the framing and structure so I could fill in the blanks and make it meaningful for me, just like a masterful coach would do in their practice. Bravo Helen!"
